Lovers is subtle combination of comedy and tragedy, that enlists our sympathy for what we think of as the victim and our hopes for though we assume is going to be the hero. Each act can stand alone as its own play. However when performed together it can open our eyes to love, passion and tragedy.

Justin Kirkeberg is the Artistic Director of Candid Theater Co. Justin has recently returned to Minneapolis from Chicago where he worked with Raven Theater, Straw Dog Theater and many others. He lived and worked in New York for 12 years where he received his BFA in Acting/Directing from New York University.

Lovers is a pair on one-act plays, Winners and Losers.
