. | Strange things can happen in the woods - especially one inhabited by Oberon and Titania along with countless faeries - especially Puck. Lysander and Hermia enter the woods to flee the command for Hermia to marry Demetrius. Demetrius and Hermia's best friend, the tall Helena, follow them. A band of actors, including Nick Bottom, come to prepare a performance of Pyramus and Thisbe for the wedding of Theseus and Hippolyta. Mischief, Mis-steps, and Mis-adventures occur, or as Puck observes, "Lord, what fools these mortals be!" Don't worry, however, things get straightened out and Puck concludes by offering his wish, "Give me your hands, if we be friends, and Robin shall restore amends." |
